The Zeliangrong Students' Union Bangalore celebrated Silver Jubilee on August 19, marking a remarkable 25 years of unity, culture, and excellence.
The event, which was celebrated in Bangalore, was a historic milestone that brought together members, alumni, and well-wishers in a spirit of camaraderie, ZSUB president Pouthailung Kamei and general secretary Namdi Chuilo stated in a release.
Chaitali Panmei, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax for Karnataka and Goa, speaking as the chief guest of the event, lauded the union's achievements and its role in fostering education and cultural exchange.
Guest of Honour, Dai Remmei, Additional Central PF Commissioner and Zonal Head for Mumbai, praised the union's commitment to community development, the student body stated.
The cultural extravaganza featured enthralling performances by the popular RWOB Troupe, showcasing the rich traditions of the region.
The audience was also treated to the enchanting melodies of Liangmai Cultural songs and the vibrant rhythms of Zeme folk songs, reflecting the cultural diversity of the Zeliangrong community, they added.
The event culminated in a sumptuous Jubilee feast, symbolizing unity and togetherness.
