Alumni of Don Bosco School, Imphal matric batch of 1986 organised a tree plantation drive at the Don Bosco School campus at Chingmeirong, Imphal, as part of the globally celebrated ‘World Environment Day’ on Sunday.

During the drive, the alumni team in coordination with the school authorities and hostellers led by the vice principal Lawrence planted tree saplings of different varieties, stated a release.

“Keeping true to the slogan of ‘Only One Earth’ by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for the World Environment Day, 2022, the alumni pledged to ensure less carbon footprint, fight climate change and prevent pollution and environmental deterioration on Earth,” it stated.
