A school cannot be attached to another school as per the rules and regulations of Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), stated a release signed by AIMS president Oinam Nikarson.

It noted the genuine efforts made by some private schools in shaping the career of the students. However, many students have been lured into taking admission through false information by unrecognised and non-affiliated colleges, all for mere business gains, it alleged.

It expressed concern over the rampancy of unrecognised and non-affiliated schools and urged the parents and guardians to be aware of the same. It also recounted untoward incidents about non-attached schools allegedly duping students and claimed that AIMS came to their rescue.

It further advised those concerned to refrain from carrying out such misconduct and said that AIMS will closely monitor such activities.
