UNACCO School, Meitram celebrated its Annual Day 2022 for classes Pre-nursery to Class ll under the theme 'Rhythm' at the school Assembly Ground on Thursday.
The programme was attended by additional senior regional director of Health and Family Welfare N Inaoba Singh; director of UNACCO School Meitram Arup Mukhopadhyay as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
The chief guest of the function N Inaoba Singh also gave a speech, during which he made an appeal to all the parents at the gathering to take their role in shaping the character of their children.
Every child should have a dream, he said, requesting the parents and teachers to encourage and motivate the students in striving for their dreams. He raised concerns about students becoming addicted to mobile phones and social media, and suggested that the parents strictly monitor their wards' actions.
The parents and teachers should take their roles in inculcating self-discipline among students, he added.
