With the aim to motivate students of Kangpokpi to join the prestigious armed forces, the Jwalamukhi Battalion Assam Rifles of Headquarters 22 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (East), conducted a career guidance cum motivational programme on Friday at Parizeau Maranatha Academy at Kangpokpi District Headquarters.
Students from Class VIII to XII attended the event where they were given an ample opportunity to interact and clear their doubts with a team of 22 Assam Rifles under Kangpokpi Bais Bahadur Coy Commander.
The Assam Rifles team also provided the students with a detailed insight into various schemes and entries for getting inducted into the armed forces while educating them on the way and means to prepare for the same.
The Assam Rifles officer also highlighted the perks and advantages of joining the armed forces which resulted in a lot of queries and answers.
