Royal Academy of Law gets NAAC accreditation

Royal Academy of Law is the first ever National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited law college in Manipur with a CGPA of 2.45 on a seven-point scale at B Grade.

Royal Academy of Law at Oinam constituency in Bishnupur district, Manipur has become Manipur’s first ever National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited Law college with a CGPA of 2.45 on a seven-point scale at B Grade.

The same was informed by Principal of Royal Academy of Law, Eliza Maisnam in a press release on Thursday stating that a report on the college’s achievement was received on Wednesday. A NAAC team carried out an inspection of the college on January 9 and 10 respectively, it stated.

The team consisting of former vice chancellor Dr BR Ambedkar National Law University, Professor Viney Kapoor and members including former professor of Southern Regional Station, National dairy research institute, KP Ramesha and principal of Government Law College, Mumbai, Asmita Vaidya carried out an assessment, it stated.

The team interacted with the faculties examining the college’s academic and operational performance documentation and also inspected the classrooms and facilities available in the college, it asserted.

It credited the college’s achievement to the Directorate of University and Higher Education, Government of Manipur, Director CDC, Manipur University, teaching and non-teaching staff, alumni, students and parents of the college for their immense efforts and contributions. It further thanked the NAAC peer team for giving insights and constructive feedback.
