The Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM), secretary S Mangijao on Thursday clarified that no textbooks of 2024 were printed before the printing order was issued from the board.
Mangijao told the media on Thursday at the conference hall of BOSEM, Babupara that as per some media reports, All Manipur Muslim Students’ Organisation (AMMSO) raised allegations that textbooks from Class I to X have been printed before BOSEM issued the order to do so.
He clarified that the allegations are baseless and no text books have been printed before the issuance of the order from BOSEM authorities.
He urged AMMSO to report at the BOSEM if they have evidence of the said allegations and will take necessary legal action against those involved if the allegations are found valid.
Mangoljao further said AMMSO should make a clarification on the issue within three days, or else necessary legal actions will be taken up against the students’ body for trying to defame BOSEM with baseless allegations.
