Students on Monday protested in front of the VC office inside the MU Campus, Canchipur under Singjamei Police station, demanding that the election for Manipur University Students Union (MUSU) be organised in a timely manner.

Around 16 students of MUSU organised a silent protest around 4 pm at the said location, holding placards that read, ‘Conduct MUSU Election Timely’, ‘Save Academic Calendar, Academic Atmosphere’, ‘Conduct MUSU Election according to Constitution’, etc.
