Manipur Education department clarifies on fake order

The Directorate of Education (S) has lodged a complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime, Manipur to take necessary legal action against the culprit.

The Directorate of Education (S) has firmly denied the claims made in the order dated June 5, which was circulated on social media mentioning that ‘the closure of schools (government, government aided, private and central) along with all the activities related with admission process at school will continue till  June 7, 2024,’ and termed it as fake.

A latest notification issued by Education (S) Director, L Nandakumar Singh on Thursday clarified that the said order bearing No AO/147/AC/2011(4)-DE(S) as fake and asserted that the office has not issued such an order.

It also mentioned that the office has lodged a complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime, Manipur to take necessary legal action against the culprit.
