LMS Law College conducts lecture on Constitutionalism

LMS Law College, Dhanamanjuri University, on Monday conducted an extensive lecture programme on ‘Working of Indian Constitution and Constitutionalism’ at the college’s conference hall in Chingmeirong.

Resource person at the event, Retired judge of High Court of Manipur, Justice Kh Nobin emphasized on the history of Indian constitution and Manipur. He also stressed the need for inclusion of basics of law in the school syllabus.

He noted that people are unaware of the acts and laws of the nation, albeit violating the laws is punishable.
 Nobin mentioned that even though legal awareness programmes have been organised to raise awareness about the law, people seem to still lack awareness.
