Laishram Boby Devi from Khongampat Awang Leikai, Imphal West District, Manipur has been awarded the Honorary Doctorate Award-2022 in the Social Work Category by the Commonwealth Vocational University, Kingdom of Tonga.
The Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) Award was conferred to Boby at the International Conference on Concept Development for Digital Education and Asia Iconic & Pride of India Awards Presentation Ceremony. It was organised jointly by Commonwealth Vocational University and Global Human Right Council at Hotel Radisson, Gurugram, Udhyok Vihar on Sunday morning.
Prof Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Ripu Ranjan Singha presented the award to Boby.
It may be mentioned that Boby was presented with various awards which includes Jewel of North East Award-2015 by Global Brotherhood Forum, New Delhi; Bharat Excellence Award, 2015 by Friendship Forum, New Delhi; Meidingu Maharaj Okendro Sana Ningshing Mana 2021, Indian Award For Excellence 2015 by Human Care Foundation, New Delhi and Manipuri Imagi Athoibi Mamomloi 2022.
