The Education department of the Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO) general headquarters extended gratitude to the University Grants Commission (UGC) for conferring autonomous status upon Rayburn College, Churachandpur.
KSO education secretary Thangmoi Haokip said that the recognition by the UGC is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of Rayburn College to the pursuit of academic excellence.
The grant of autonomous status not only acknowledges the institution’s outstanding contributions to education but also empowers Rayburn College with the autonomy to design and implement innovative academic programs, fostering a dynamic and progressive learning environment, he said.
He expressed the student body’s sincere appreciation to the UGC for its thorough evaluation and consideration of Rayburn College’s achievements, infrastructure, and academic practices.
“This milestone is a reflection of the collective efforts of the entire Rayburn College community, including faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders, who have worked tirelessly to elevate the standard of education at the institution,” he added.
