The Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) has informed all heads of High/Higher Secondary Schools recognised by the board that the online submission of application forms for the forthcoming High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) 2024 will begin from Wednesday (December 20).
The notification issued by Controller of Examinations, Ayam Thoi on Friday said the last date of submission of form without fine is between December 20 to January 25, 2024, while between January 26, 2024 to February 1, 2024, the late fine includes a charge of Rs 400 per student.
It also mentioned that the rate of fees including examination fee-regular and external is Rs. 1,400, mark sheet fee is Rs 400 and Centre fee is Rs 600, which amounts to a total of Rs. 2,400.
It added that the practical fee for optional subjects such as Thang-Ta, Eshei Nongmai, Manipuri Jagoi, Fine Arts is Rs 150 per student. If a candidate fails either in Theory or Practical of Fine Arts, Eshei Nongmai, Thang-Ta and Manipuri Jagoi in the previous year, then he/she has to appear both in Theory and Practical in the coming examination, it noted.
The notice further said Internally Displaced Students (IDS) (Regular or External candidates) will be exempted from mentioned fees and online form fill up procedures. It also mentioned that relevant and valid documents of being affected by the prevailing situation should be produced by the IDS.
It said that respective Heads of High/Higher Secondary Schools can collect the prescribed forms from the office of the Board during office hours at free of cost (from Wednesday) or can download from the BOSEM website for said students.
The duly fill-in hard copy application forms along with valid/relevant IDS documents should be submitted to the office of the Board on or before January 25, 2024, it stated. Students can avail further details from BOSEM official website ‘www.hrtcportal.bosem.in.’, it added.
