Member of trustee Susindro Foundation Leishangthem Bembem Devi on Friday asserted that a student should be encouraged to possess the quality to remain active, free from idleness, sharpness of mind and disciplined to become successful in their lives.
She was speaking at the felicitation ceremony of COHSEM exam-2024 toppers at the office of Susindro Foundation, Khurai Sajor Leikai, Tinsid Road, Imphal East. The programme was organised by Susindro Foundation.
Bembem said life is a journey and one should face all the struggles. For students, they should maintain discipline and focus on a particular goal by keeping aside egos.
She further said the Foundation is pleased that Khurai assembly constituency has three toppers at higher secondary examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).
Bembem said parents should encourage their children to bring more achievements for Khurai assembly constituency in the next year.
Three students including Malemnganbi Laishram, daughter of Laishram Romen and Laishram Jugarani who is the topper higher secondary examination, COHSEM in Science stream; Thokchom Sheityajit, son of Th Nobochand and Karam Reena who is the topper of the same examination in Arts stream and Robartson Nameirakpam, son of Nameirakpam Basanta and Nameirakpam ongbi Ranjana Devi who bagged 8th position in the same examination in Science stream were felicitated.
They were honoured with traditional stoles along with cash rewards of Rs 50,000 each for two toppers and Rs 30,000 for the 8th rank holder.
