The selection of candidates as State Government Nominee for undergoing admission to four-year degree course of B Sc (Hons) Horticulture at Assam Agriculture University (AAU), Jorhat under NEC quota with payment of pro-rata contribution by the student and colleges under Central Agriculture University (CAU), Imphal for the academic session 2023-24 will be made strictly on merit of NTA Score of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Inter-Agriculture of CUET (UG)-2023.
The intending candidates of the state domicile who have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate of PCB/ Inter-Agriculture for UR/OBC categories and 40 percent marks for ST/SC/PC/ in service categories are informed to avail/download the application form from the Directorate of Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Sanjenthong or website www.horticulture.mn.gov.in, stated a notification issued by the department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation on Thursday.
The candidates are to submit their duly filled application forms along with Certificate and Mark sheet of Class 10 and 10+2, Domicile certificate, ST/SC/OBC certificate, and CUET(UG)-2023 NTA Score card to this Directorate or scanned copies through the department at hortmntraining@gmail.com, it stated.
The candidates must have applied for the Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) under preferred university list at the time of CUET Registration, it mentioned.
Application forms (hard copy or online mode) will be issued from July 26 to August 10, it stated, adding, the last date for submission of the Application forms and relevant documents (hard copy or online) is August 14 (till 5.30 pm). The Result/Merit List of AAU will be declared within August, it mentioned. For CAU, Imphal, the date for declaration of merit list will be notified later, it added.
