ABVP Karyakarta distributed study materials and Games and Sport items at several relief camps in Imphal areas on Sunday, and motivated inmate students for higher studies and to become a responsible citizens of the state.
According to a release from the State Office Secretary of ABVP, the distribution of study materials were conducted under the activity student for Seva (SFS), JEEVANAM (Give to Life), Disaster Relief (Saving Lives), SAMVEDAN (Shiksharth vidyarthi, Sevarth Vidyarthi).
ABVP Karyakarta distributed study materials such as pens, pencils, exercise books, etc., and games and sports items such as football, chess, ludo, carrom etc.
In Bishnupur districts, the items were distributed at Laisoi Relief Camp, Ithing Relief Camp, Sendra Relief Camp, Thangjing Guest House Relief Camp, Moirang College Block A Relief Camp, Moirang College Block B Relief Camp, Sribon Mandop Relief Camp, Muktak High School Relief CAmp, Moirang Khunou Mamkha Leikai Relief CAmp, Chandpur Relief Camp,Keibul Lamjao Relief Camp, Kumbi High school Relief, Phubala Relief Camp, Ningthoukhong Relief Camp, Sindamsang Relief Camp, Lapupat Relief Camp, the ABVP said.
They provided items to over 516 students of class 1 to 12, the ABVP said, adding that they were warmly welcome at the camps. The students at relief camps also expressed their thoughts and fears about the violence in Manipur, they added.
ABVP State Vice President Dr Aheibam Dinamani Singh, Imphal Vibag Organization Secretary Akshay Puspa Rajukar, ABVP State Secretary Rk Rabichandra Singh, State Joint Secretary RK Yaikhomba singh, State Joint Secretary Gautam Philem, Moirang Unit Karyakarta were present in the distribution programme.
Till now, ABVP Manipur Karyakarta have distributed study materials, games & sports items, sanitary pads, hygienic materials to over 3113 inmate students, the ABVP said in the release.
