Thoubal logs one new COVID-19 case

Manipur's COVID-19 caseload rose to 1,39,890, with the report of one more positive case on Saturday.

Manipur has reported one new COVID-19 case over the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the state to 1,39,890.

According to a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Saturday, one female from Thoubal district tested COVID-19 positive. No death due to COVID-19 was reported from any part of the state. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths remains 2,149.

Two persons were discharged on Saturday. The number of active COVID-19 cases is 16. The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on November 4 was 517. The cumulative doses administered so far are 32,56,767, including first dose count of 16,47,647, second dose 13,34,360 and precautionary dose was 2,74,760.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
