Manipur reported no new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, thus confining the cumulative number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the state to 1,39,920 as of Friday.
According to a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Friday, no person tested positive for COVID-19 and not a single person died of it in the last 24 hours; the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths stood at 2,149.
No person was also discharged on Friday, the number of active cases of COVID- 19 remained two.
Meanwhile, 35 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered on December 8, taking the cumulative doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered so far to 32,64,683. Of it, the first dose is 16,48,546, second dose is 13,37,067 and precaution dose is 2,79,070.
