Manipur recorded no deaths from COVID-19 for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday and the death toll stood at 365, while 43 new cases pushed the state's COVID-19 caseload to 28,769, the state health department said.
Of the new positive cases, 41 are from the general population while three are Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) personnel, a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room stated.
The new positive cases from the general population included 13 from Churachandpur, 10 from Imphal West, six from Imphal East, four from Thoubal, two each from Kakching and Senapati, and one each from Chandel, Kamjong, Tengnoupal and Noney. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the release stated.
Meanwhile, 56 more patients recovered from COVID-19, taking the state's total recovered cases to 27,935. With the new recoveries, the number of active cases stood at 469 (General Population - 440 and Central Security Personnel - 29) and the recovery rate rose to 97.10 per cent, it added.
Those who are in contact with a COVID-19 positive person have been advised to isolate themselves immediately and contact the Covid Control room or the district CMO for testing.

The state health department has also advised the public to dial - 104 Manipur Mental Health Helpline from 9 am to 9 pm, for mental wellbeing.
