Nagaland on Saturday reported seven more COVID-19 positive cases, taking the total number of cases in the state to 163, official sources said.
Taking to Twitter, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said, that the new cases were among the 216 samples tested for COVID-19. Of them, six were from Mon quarantine centre and one from Kohima quarantine centre, he added.
"7 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 216 samples tested. 6 from Mon QC & 1 from Kohima QC," the minister tweeted.
Of the total 163 COVID-19 positive cases, 114 cases are active, while 49 patients have recovered from the disease, the health minister said.
Nagaland has not recorded any COVID-19 death till date.
