Nagaland COVID-19: One active case; positive caseload reaches 35,962

A total number of 35,180 people have so far recovered from COVID-19 and the recovery rate stood at 97.83 per cent in Nagaland.

Nagaland today has only one COVID-19 active case, while its positive caseload has reached 35,962 and as many as 781 people have succumbed to the disease so far, official sources said.

A total number of 35,180 people have so far recovered from the disease in the state and its recovery rate stood at 97.83 per cent, according to the latest updated data of the Union Health Ministry.

After Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh has the lowest number of COVID-19 active case among the Northeast states, with a positive caseload of 66,856, while the disease has claimed 296 lives in the state so far. A total of 66,550 recoveries have been reported in the state so far.

Manipur on Friday reported one new COVID-19 case, taking its COVID-19 caseload to 1,39,825 and number of active cases to 15.

So far, India has tested 89,67,48,226 total samples for COVID-19.

On Saturday, the country reported 2,785 new positive cases, 3,884 more recoveries and 12 deaths. With it, the cumulative caseload reached 4,46,09,257, total recoveries mounted to 4,40,51,228 and the death toll climbed to 5,28,778.

Consequently, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in the country dropped to 29,251 as on Saturday, according to the Health Ministry.

Meanwhile, the country has recorded 2,18,93,14,422 total doses of the vaccine administered nationwide.
