The total number of COVID-19 in Mizoram rose to 145 as three more persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, official sources said.
The new cases were among those 620 samples tested. Of them, one is a Delhi returnee while one had returned to the state from Haryana. The other one is a contact of a positive patient, the DIPR Mizoram posted on Twitter on Wednesday.
The DIPR said that two of them are under institutional quarantine while one is in home quarantine. Two patients are asymptomatic but one patient shows symptoms, the DIPR added.
With the detection of new cases, the total number of active cases in the state has increased to 126 while 19 patients have recovered from the infection, the DIPR said.
"No new Covid-19 positive found in 24 hours," Chief Minister Zoramthanga tweeted on Tuesday morning.
Mizoram has not registered any coronavirus-related death till date.
The official source also said that till date 11,964 people have returned to the state from different parts of the country and abroad.
