Mizoram COVID-19 tally surges to 4,405

Mizoram's COVID-19 caseload surged to 4,405 as six more persons tested positive for the viral infection on Thursday, according to the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Mizoram.
As per the latest updates from the DIPR, Mizoram now has 23 active cases while 4,372 patients have recovered from COVID-19. The death toll remained at 10, it added.
Among the active cases, nine cases each are in Aizawl and Lawngtlai, two each in Lunglei and Champhai, and one in Saitual.
No new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in six districts, including Siaha, Kolasib, Serchhip, Mamit, Khawzawl and Hnahthial, the DIPR posted on Twitter.
