Manipur on Tuesday reported no new deaths and two new COVID-19 cases of the 286 samples tested for the infection. With it, the cumulative number of positive cases reached 1,39,744 , including 54 active cases in the state, official sources said.
According to a COVID-19 Common Control Room release on Tuesday, the two cases, a male and a female, were confirmed from Imphal West and Churachandpur districts.
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the press statement said.
The State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee reported no death case of Covid 19 in the last 24 hours with the cumulative number of deaths at 2148.
Meanwhile, 10 more recoveries pushed the total recovered cases to 1,37,542 and the recovery rate stood at 98.42 per cent.
As on September 5, a total of 44 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 12 B-type Oxygen Cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of Covid 19 vaccine administered on September 5 was 1633.The cumulative doses administered so far was 3193109. The total first dose administered so far is 1634176, second dose is 1308803 and precautionary dose is 250130.
