COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Manipur reached 32,66,062 with 15 more doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on January 12. Out of it, the first dose is 16,48,777, second dose is 13,38,170 and precaution dose 2,79,115.
The state's active COVID-19 tally remained zero as no further infection was detected in any part of the state on Friday, official sources said.
According to the latest updated data issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, the state's confirmed COVID-19 caseload stood at 1,39,924 and the death toll remained 2,149.
The cumulative number of recovered cases stood at 1,37,77 and the recovery rate is 98.46 per cent.
According to the release, in view of the surge in Covid BF.7 variant in other parts of the world, people in the state have been urged to get complete Covid vaccination doses and followCovid appropriate behavior such as wearing face masks, maintaining hand hygiene and social distancing.
