No new COVID-19 case or death was reported in Manipur on Thursday and the state's confirmed COVID-19 caseload stood at 1,39,924, including 2,149 deaths, official sources said.
Manipur reported two COVID-19 positive cases in 2023- one each on January 1 and January 3. However, the two cases have recovered from the infection leaving the cumulative number of recovered cases at 1,37,77 and recovery rate at 98.46 per cent.
According to the latest updated data issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, the cumulative doses administered so far stood at 32,68,480 with 61 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on February 8. Out of it, the first dose is 16,49,246, second dose is 13,38,879 and precaution dose 2,80,355.
On Thursday, 81 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the state but all returned negative. Manipur has so far conducted 16,67,814 COVID-19 tests.
