Manipur on Thursday reported no new fatality, but another four people tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 1,39,752. On Wednesday too, the state witnessed four new positive cases and no COVID-19 death.
According to the COVID-19 Common Control Room release issued on Thursday, the cases confirmed from RIMS was two and other testing centres was two.
The positive cases from the general population are three from Imphal West and one from Churachandpur. All the necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.
The State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee reported no death case of COVID-19 on Thursday. The cumulative number of deaths stood at 2148. As many as 17 persons were discharged after completion of surveillance.
The total number of recoveries reached 1,37,567 and the recovery rate reported is 98.44 per cent. Consequently, the number of active cases stood at 37.
As on September 7, a total of 92 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 0 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of Covid 19 vaccine doses administered on September 7 was 3096. The cumulative doses vaccinated so far is 31,98,415. Of which, the first dose is 16,35,128, second dose is 13,11,092 and precautionary dose 2,52,195.
