For the first time since the COVID-19 fourth wave hit Manipur, the state detected no new COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday. It also reported no single-day COVID-19 death in the last 24 hours, official sources said.
According to the latest updated figures released by the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Saturday, the cumulative number of positive cases stood at 1,39,755 and the number of active cases recorded was 27.
At least eight persons were discharged after completion of surveillance, and the total recovered cases reached 1,37,580. The recovery rate currently is 98.44 per cent.
As the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported no Covid 19 case, the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in the state remained unmoved at 2148.
Meanwhile, as on September 9, a total of 99 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 12 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of Covid 19 vaccine administered on September 9 was 2920.The cumulative doses vaccinated so far is 3204102. The vaccine first dose administered reached 1637015, second dose 1313409 and precautionary dose climbed to 253678.
