Manipur reports zero COVID-19 case for 13 consecutive days

Manipur reported zero active COVID-19 cases as one infected person recovered from the infection on January 10.

No new COVID-19 case has been detected in Manipur for 13 consecutive days and the state's confirmed COVID-19 caseload stood at 1,39,924, including 2,149 deaths, official sources said. 

Manipur has reported two COVID-19 positive cases in 2023- one each on January 1 and January 3. However, the two cases have recovered from the infection leaving the cumulative number of recovered cases at 1,37,77 and recovery rate at 98.46 per cent.

On Monday, a total of 85 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur, of which all returned negative for the infection. Manipur has so far conducted 16,66,182 COVID-19 tests.
