Manipur reports two new COVID-19 cases

The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state now stands at 1,39,922, and the active cases rose to three as of Wednesday.

Manipur has reported two new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state now stands at 1,39,922.

According to the COVID-19 Common Control Room release on Wednesday, two females from Imphal East and Bishnupur tested COVID-19 positive in the last 24 hours. No death due to COVID-19 has been reported over the last 24 hours from any parts of the state. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths case remained 2,149.

No person was discharged on Wednesday. Hence, the number of COVID-19  active case rose to three.

The number of doses of COVID-9 vaccine administered on December 13 was 163. The cumulative number of COVID vaccine doses administered so far is 3265087. It includes 1648593 first dose, 1337408 second dose and and 279086 preacution dose tally.

If you have any flu or flu like symptom s, get tested, stated the release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release stated.
