Manipur on Tuesday recorded two new COVID-19 cases, taking the cumulative number of positive cases in the state to 1,39,918, including a death toll of 2,149, official sources said. The daily positivity rate is 1.8 per cent.
A total of 110 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Tuesday, of which two returned positive for the infection. Manipur has so far conducted 16,62,805 COVID-19 tests, the sources said.
The two COVID-19 positive cases reported in Manipur on Tuesday were from Imphal West district, the sources added.
According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Tuesday, the COVID-19 related deaths were reported during the last 24 hours from any part of the state.
The number of COVID-19 active cases dropped to six as four more persons recovered from the infection on Tuesday.
The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on November 28 was 102. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,63,963, including 16,48,456 first dose, 13,36,683 second dose and the 2,78,824 precaution dose.
