Manipur on Friday reported two new COVID-19 cases, taking the cumulative number of positive cases in the state to 1,39,915, including a death toll of 2,149, official sources said.
As per the sources, a total of 57 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Friday, of which two returned positive for the infection. Manipur has so far conducted 16,62,487 COVID-19 tests.
According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Friday, the two COVID-19 positive cases were reported from Imphal East and Imphal West respectively. No deaths were reported during the last 24 hours from any part of the state.
The number of COVID-19 active cases stood at 12 as no new recovery was reported in the state on Friday.
The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on November 24 was 334. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,63,134, including 16,48,376 first dose, 13,36,414 second dose and the 2,78,344 precautionary dose.
