Manipur logs two more COVID-19 cases, active caseload rises to 10

The two COVID-19 positive cases reported on Monday were from Churachandpur and Kamjong.

Manipur on Monday reported two new COVID-19 cases, taking the cumulative number of positive cases in the state to 1,39,911, including a death toll of 2,149, official sources said.

According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Monday, the two COVID-19 positive cases were reported from Churachandpur and Kamjong district. However, no deaths were reported during the last 24 hours from any part of the state.

The number of COVID-19 active cases stood at 10 as only one patient recovered from the infection on Monday.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on November 20 was 148. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,61,659, including 16,48,203 first dose, 13,35,770 second dose and the 2,77,686 precautionary dose.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
