Manipur logs one new COVID-19 case, tally at 1,39,904

The single COVID-19 positive case reported in Manipur on Wednesday was from Churachandpur district.

Manipur on Wednesday reported one new COVID-19, taking he cumulative number of positive cases in the state to 1,39,904, including a death toll of 2,149, official sources said.

As per the sources, a total of 120 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Wednesday, of which only one returned positive for the infection. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.8 per cent. Manipur has so far conducted 16,61,774 COVID-19 tests. 

According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Wednesday, the single COVID-19 positive case was reported from Churachandpur district. However, no deaths were reported during the last 24 hours from any part of the state.

The number of COVID-19 active cases dropped to 10 as two more patients recovered from the infection on Wednesday.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on November 15 was 381. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,60,238, including 16,48,038 first dose, 13,35,295 second dose and the 2,76,905 precautionary dose.
