Manipur logs five new COVID-19 recoveries, active caseload drops to seven

No new COVID-19 positive case or death was reported in Manipur on Sunday.

No new COVID-19 case was detected in Manipur on Sunday and the cumulative number of positive cases in the state remained 1,39,915, including a death toll of 2,149, official sources said.

A total of 40 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Sunday and all returned negative. Manipur has so far conducted 16,62,618 COVID-19 tests, the sources said.

According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Sunday, no COVID-19 related deaths were reported during the last 24 hours from any part of the state.

The number of COVID-19 active cases dropped to seven from Saturday's 12 as five more persons recovered from the infection on Sunday.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on November 26 was 441. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,63,831, including 16,48,448 first dose, 13,36,651 second dose and the 2,78,732 precautionary dose.
