COVID-19 active caseload in Manipur on Thursday climbed to 33 from Wednesday's 28, official sources said.
On Thursday, the state reported five more COVID-19 cases from five different testing centres, while no cases of deaths caused by COVID-19 was reported in the last 24 hours.
The COVID-19 Common Control Room on Thursday stated in a release that one male and four females tested positive for COVID-19.
The new positive cases include two each from Imphal East and from Imphal West and one from Churachandpur. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, it stated.
The cumulative number of deaths remained 2,148 while the cumulative number of positive cases stands at 1,39,778, recovered cases at 1.37,597 and recovery rate at 98.44 per cent as no recovery was repoerted in the last 24 hours.
As on September 14, a total of 440 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 85 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on September 14 is 2,768. The cumulative number of doses administered so far is 3212127. Of the total; the cumulative number of the first dose is 1638945, second dose is 1316539 and precautionary dose is 256643.
