No new COVID-19 case or death was reported in Manipur on Thursday and the state's confirmed COVID-19 caseload stood at 1,39,924, including 2,149 deaths, official sources said.

Manipur reported two COVID-19 positive cases in 2023- one each on January 1 and January 3. However, the two cases have recovered from the infection leaving the cumulative number of recovered cases at 1,37,77 and recovery rate at 98.46 per cent.

On Thursday, 84 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the state but all returned negative. Manipur has so far conducted 16,68,367 COVID-19 tests.
