Manipur active COVID-19 cases rise to nine

Manipur reported one new COVID-19 case while no recovery was reported in the state on Sunday.

Manipur on Sunday reported one new COVID-19 case, taking the cumulative number of positive cases in the state to 1,39,909, including a death toll of 2,149, official sources said.

According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Sunday, the single COVID-19 positive case was reported from Thoubal district. However, no deaths were reported during the last 24 hours from any part of the state.

The number of COVID-19 active cases stood at nine as no patient recovered from the infection on Sunday.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on November 19 was 249. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,61,510, including 16,48,193 first dose, 13,35,719 second dose and the 2,77,589 precautionary dose.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
