India reports 15,528 new COVID-19 cases

India saw a total of 4,68,350 COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours. India has so far conducted over 87,01,55,452 cumulative tests, the Health Ministry said.

India's cumulative confirmed COVID-19 caseload has reached 4,37,83,062 with the addition of 15, 528 new cases on Tuesday. The country also recorded 25 deaths, taking the death toll to 5,25,785.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the country's active caseload currently stands at 1,43,654, which constitute 0.33 per cent of the total positive cases.

A total of 16,113 patients also recovered during the same period and the cumulative tally of recovered cases is 4,31,13,623. India’s recovery rate stands at 98.47 per cent.
