India reports 1,326 new COVID-19 positive cases

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 219.63 Cr (2,19,63,82,882) as per provisional reports till 7 am Monday.

India on Monday reported 1,326 new COVID-19 positive cases, according to the latest updated data released by the Union Health Ministry.

The country’s COVID-19 active caseload currently stands at 17,912. Active cases now constitute 0.04 per cent of the country's total positive cases.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.78 per cent. In all 1,723 patients recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) is now at 4,41,06,656.

A total of 83,167 more COVID-19 tests were conducted. India has so far conducted over 90.09 crore (90,09,66,082) cumulative tests.

The Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 1.08 per cent and the Daily Positivity rate is reported to be 1.59 per cent.

Meanwhile, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 219.63 Cr (2,19,63,82,882), including 22,08,77,025 precaution doses as per provisional reports till 7 am Monday.

Over 4.12 crore first dose of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to children in the age group 12-14 years so far.
