Five more COVID-19 cases in Manipur

Manipur on Saturday reported five new COVID-19 cases, taking the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state to 1,39,840, and the number of active COVID-19 cases rose to 14, official sources said. 

According to the latest updated data issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Saturday, one new postive case was reported from Churachandpur, while four others were detected in Imphal East.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths stood at 2149, with no reports of new COVID-19 death, while two more persons were discharged.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on October 14 was 978. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,46,673. Of it, the first dose totaled 16,45,798, second dose 13,30,144 and precautionary dose reached 2,70,731.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
