Airtel 5G plus was launched at the Mini Secretariat, Churachandpur by DC Sharath Chandra Arroju in the presence of the Airtel Zonal business manager Jaideep Mukherjee on Tuesday.
Airtel 5G was launched for the first time in Northeast India state in Manipur on December 21, 2022 and further launched at Churachandpur district which is the first district to get 5G in all districts of Northeast India. The event also witnessed an awareness campaign organised by the staff of the company.
Prior to the launch, the zonal business manager of Airtel presented a video on the benefits of 5G.
He said it will boost healthcare sectors where ambulances with life support systems can have a real time update on certain cases. Churachandpur DC said that it is a matter of pride that the district has been chosen as the first district in the state by Airtel.
