The Moyon Literature Society has published a book titled “A Guide Book to Moyon Language” under the aegis of the Moyon Naga Council.
The book, printed in Quadrilingual Moyon-Manipuri-English-Nagamese, has been dedicated posthumously to Khp Chinir Ngamching Moyon, 3rd President of Moyon Naga Council, 3rd chief of Kapaam/Komlathabi, 5th chairman of Chandel Autonomous District Council, member of Manipur Hill & Valley Integration Committee from 1967-1980 under the chairmanship of H H Maharaja Kumar Priyobarta Singh, president of Tengnoupal Congress Committee 1975-89, president of Naga Kuki Peace Committee Pallel 1990-93, first chairman of South East Manipur College, Komlathabi/Kapaam, advisor and guardian of Myanmar (Burmese) Democratic Student in Chandel district from 1998 onwards, publisher of first hymnal book of Moyon-Monsang 1965.
A release by Moyon Literature Society stated that Upa Ngamnu Chara Moyon, the chief guest and wife of Chinir Ngamching Moyon, released the book at a grand function held at Thoma Memorial Hall, Kapaam on October 24 in the presence of the president Chandel Naga People’s Organisation, president of Moyon Naga Council and Kshetri Bira, Kakching, a very prominent writer and awardee of Sahitya Akademi, Delhi and Manipur State Award for Literature.
The event was solemnised with the blessing of the book by Rev Pheliboy Roel, executive secretary, Moyon Naga Baptist Assn. Penaching (Mynba).
The august gathering also withnessed the presence of chiefs from various villages, Church leaders, tribe leaders, V/P of Naga Women Union Chandel and Women leaders, scholars, All Naga Student Association, Manipur (ANSAM), Naga Student Union Chande(NSUC), student leaders from Aimol, Chothe, Lamkang, Manipur, Monsang ,Moyon etc.
