Art exhibition on ‘Colours of pandemic’ on January 28

An art exhibition of paintings by Rajkumar Budhimanta, ‘Colours of pandemic’, will be held at RKCS Art Gallery in Keishamthong Mathak on January 28 at 3 pm.

‘Colours of pandemic’, an art exhibition of paintings by Rajkumar Budhimanta, will be held at RKCS Art Gallery in Keishamthong Mathak on January 28 at 3 pm.

Budhimanta is the son of Rajkumar Chandrajitsana Singh, popularly known as RKCS, a legendary doyen in the field of fine arts in Manipur. The individual exhibition will showcase 330 paintings.

The exhibition will be open for the public for five days from January 28 till February 1. The paintings mainly depict the landscapes of Manipur. 

The paintings were painted by Budhimanta during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

Education Minister Th Basanta Kumar singh, Vice Chancellor of Manipur University of Culture, Paonam Gunindro and K Sobita Devi, chairperson of RKCS Museum of Arts and Crafts, Imphal will inaugurate the exhibition as chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.
