Farmers receive book-keeping training in Noney

A book-keeping training for the Farmer Interest Group was held at Satudai to equip group members with necessary skills and knowledge to manage financial transactions related to their farming activities.

NONEY: A one-day training programme on group management and book-keeping for Farmers Interested Groups (FIGs) leader of Tazei Farmer Producer Company Ltd under (MOVCDNER) mission organic value chain development for Northeastern Region phase III was held at Satudai (Khoupum) under Noney district on Thursday.

The training programme was organised by Diocesan social service society (DSSS) under the sponsership of Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA).

Field inspector DSSS Guangjuanliu Gonmei attended the event as a resource person in the presence of CEO Tazei FPC Jangdipou Alpha Dangmei.

The purpose of book-keeping training for the Farmer Interest Group (FIG) is to equip the group members with the necessary skills and knowledge to record and manage financial transactions related to their farming activities. 

The training helps improve financial management, transparency, accountability, access to credit, decision-making, and compliance within the group. It supports the sustainable growth and development of the FIG and its members' farming operations.

A total of 24 members from six FIGs took part in the training programme.
