AMFA sets up seven-member committee to pull up erring players and referees

The AMFA Executive Council in a meeting held on Tuesday has resolved to appoint S Amutombi Singh as chairman of the panel.

The All Manipur Football Association has constituted a seven-member Players and Referees Status Committee (PRSC) to pull up erring players and referees who participated in the unauthorised matches.

The AMFA Executive Council in a meeting held on Tuesday has resolved to appoint S Amutombi Singh as chairman of the panel. The other members are L Naba Singh as convenor while L Nandakumar Singh, S Maniratan Singh, M Joychandra Singh, Mohd Jane Khan and S Jameskumar Singh as members.

A statement from AMFA added that the committee reserves the rights to serve summons to those players who are participating/officiating/involving in any unauthorised tournaments based on the office memorandum no.10/AMFA/GC/2001 dated April 12th 2021 of the association.

It is further notified that any players/referees who do not present before PRSC of AMFA, an ex-parte stern disciplinary action shall be initiated against the erring players and referees alike.
