A 12-member executive committee of the Institute of Development Studies, Manipur was set up at its general body meeting on Sunday, and a wide range of research work on development issues is being planned, sources said.
The Institute of Development Studies general body meeting was held at NG College, Imphal on Sunday, under the chairmanship of former director of College Development Council, Manipur University, N Mohendro Singh, a release stated.
The meeting decided to conduct a state-level seminar on the issues of development in Manipur in June, it added.
It further said that there will be a series of discussion on the current issues of the state as well. It was also decided to publish the second volume of Development Studies in Manipur.
The institute will conduct a wide range of research work on the development issues from time to time, the release added.
