100 domestic animals vaccinated in Jiribam

The vaccination drive dor domesticated animals was organsied jointly by several local clubs in Jiribam district on Saturday.

Over 100 domestic animals were vaccinated during a vaccination drive organsied jointly by several local clubs in Jiribam district on Saturday.

The vaccination programme was jointly organised by the Kangleicha Club, the Samupunbi and the Leisem Club, Khuningthek Leikai, Jiribam in association with the Veterinary Hospital of the district.

In connection with the programme, president of Leishem Club, Shyamkumar Mutum said that the initiative was taken up so to protect the domestic animals from any infectious diseases.

The vaccinated animals included cows, pigs and goats, he added.

He also extended his gratitude to joint director of Veterinary Hospital Jiribam, M Muhindro.
