Entry of Myanmar nationals strictly checked at Indo-Myanmar border

Many Myanmar nationals tried to enter the border on Saturday but the Indian security stopped them from entering and made them go back to their own country.

In order to check the entry of Myanmar nationals through the porous Indo-Myanmar border, a strict checking was conducted by a team of police and AR personnel on Saturday.

The team included SP of Tengnoupal, Th Vikramjit Singh; CO of 43 AR, Col Sumit Sood; SDO of Moreh, I Dinesh Kumar Singh; ASP of Moreh, M Amit Singh along with officials and personnel from Moreh Police, CDO Moreh and Assam Rifles

Under the instructions from higher authorities after hearing the possibility of entering Myanmar nationals at the border villages of India due to the military coup in Myanmar, the step was taken up. Many Myanmar nationals tried to enter the border on Saturday but the Indian security stopped them from entering and made them go back to their own country.
