Cold conditions persisted in Manipur as the minimum temperature dropped below 3 degrees Celsius on Sunday, according to the climate change cell of the state Directorate of Environment and Climate Change.
The minimum temperature in Manipur dipped to 2.35 degrees Celsius, while the maximum was 28.52 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
Senapati district recorded the least temperature of 2.35 degree Celsius while Imphal West recorded 3.06 degrees Celsius on till 6 pm Sunday, according to the latest update by the state Directorate of Environment and Climate Change.
In other districts, the minimum temperature ranged between 4.26 degrees Celsius to 12.68 degrees celsius.
In Noney district, the minimum temperature was 12.68 degrees Celsius, while the maximum was 28.52 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature in Bishnupur district was 4.94 degrees Celsius while the maximum was 21.12 degrees Celsius.
In Churachandpur district, the minimum temperature was 5.91 degrees Celsius while the maximum was 25.08 degrees Celsius.
In Imphal East, the minimum temperature was 5.86 degrees Celsius while maximum was 25.41 degrees Celsius
Kakching district recorded a minimum temperature of 8.02 degrees Celsius and maximum of 21.53 degrees Celsius.
Kangpokpi district recorded a minimum temperature of 4.26 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 21.82 degrees Celsius.
In Tamenglong district, the minimum temperature on Sunday was 8.33 degrees Celsius while the maximum was 14.07 degrees Celsius.
Tengnoupal district recorded a minimum temperature of 9.66 degrees Celsius and maximum of 26.47 degrees Celsius.
